Dear Resident/ Business owner
As our work on the Eastbourne Town Centre Improvement Scheme progresses we are now due temporary change the layout of the bus route along Terminus Road to accommodate the construction of the town centre improvements.
This will include:-
- Temporary pedestrian fencing (safety)
- Excavation and temporary surfacing
- New drainage, kerbing and granite paving to proposed carriageway
Access to all properties and businesses will be maintained during these works but please do not put any advertising or display boards on the footpath during this time.
This work is due to commence Monday 16th July and be in place until end September 2018, when the temporary pedestrian fencing will be removed and the buses redirected onto the permanent new carriageway along Terminus Road.
The remainder of the footpath works along the southern side will then be undertaken in sections to minimise any further disruption, we shall update you on these work nearer the time.
