We are very pleased to say that we will be back in Hambledon from Tuesday 2nd May to start preparing for the resurfacing of the road and pavements. The new surface will stretch from the Green Man junction, along West Street and East Street to the outskirts of village near Hambledon Vineyard. We estimate that the works will take 4 months.
Access to the Village Hall, The Vine Public House and The Peoples Market will remain open at all times.
We are keen to minimise any inconvenience to local businesses and residents, so if you have any specific concerns, please raise these with the contractor. We are awaiting a new site telephone number which will be published as soon as we have it.
We will once again be providing a ‘One-Stop-Shop’ facility at the Village Hall on the second Monday of each month between 3.00 and 6.00pm, where you will be able to call in and ask us any questions about the scheme. The next meeting is on Monday 8th May 2017. We look forward to seeing you there.
