A380 Ware Barton Highway Works

Works on the A380 at Ware Barton commenced on Monday 29^th January, in the area highlighted on the map below, and are anticipated to last for eight weeks.

The majority of the work involves planing and resurfacing of the A380 Southbound, other activities include the waterproofing of the two bridges over the roundabout, the replacement of safety barriers, vegetation clearance and upgrading the existing drainage.

A lane closure and 40mph speed restriction will be in place throughout the duration of this work to ensure the safety of site staff and the travelling public. There will also be a 40mph speed restriction on the northbound carriageway for safety when the bridge deck works are taking place in the outside lane (lane 2). Some night time closures are needed, dates will be confirmed in advance on this site and signed diversions will be in place.
