The Buses Are Coming Back

October 1st 2015

We are pleased to announce that the X9 and 145 bus services are to be reinstated from Monday 12th October. They will start and terminate at the junction of Cams Hill Lane and the B2150 (Lotts Store). The timetables will be displayed at the bus stops and in the notice board outside the Village Hall.

Work is well underway on the Hambledon Flood Alleviation scheme, with pipes currently being laid in the area of Old Barn Crescent.

Shops and businesses will remain open as usual throughout the works.

We are keen to minimise any inconvenience to local businesses and residents, so if you have any specific concerns, please raise these with the contractor as the works progress. Please contact Donna Crangle on 02392 632697.

We will be providing a ‘One-Stop-Shop’ facility at the Village Hall on the second Monday of each month between 3.30 and 6.00pm, where you will be able to call in and ask us any questions about the scheme. The next meeting is on Monday 12th October. An information point with details about the scheme is also provided at the Village Hall.
