The Big Pipe Has Been Completed

November 1st 2016

Now just some minor road works to be completed by mid-December

The BIG PIPE has now been completed. Following a busy programme of work this month, we plan to be away from the village centre by mid-December and come back in the spring to complete the road surfacing and footpaths.

By early December we will have reinstated the trench at the eastern end of the village, fully opened all roads and taken down the diversion routes. We will also have completed a short section of road at the Green Man junction (B2150 and West Street ). This work will require the junction to be closed for a few hours and a diversion will need to be in place during this short period. We hope to do this junction work on either Thursday 17th or Friday 18th November, depending on the weather.

Access to the Village Hall, The Vine Public House and The Gardens will be available from the eastern end of the village for those few hours.

We are keen to minimise any inconvenience to local businesses and residents, so if you have any specific concerns, please raise these with the contractor as the works progress. Please contact Donna Crangle at Mildren on 02392 632697.
